Can I make my impressions if I have a permanent retainer?

Yes! This is perfectly fine and we have many customers with a permanent retainer or other restorative work. The impression material will not stick to this dental work and the whitening process will not harm the artificial materials or bonding. Just be sure you press your impressions deep enough to cover the retainer in order for your custom-fitted trays to fit perfectly.
