What is the reason for the one-time registration fee?
For both Shine Dental and Shine Complete, there is a one-time, $15.00 registration fee. This one-time fee is required by our provider network to create an account for you and register your membership ID with our network. You will only pay this fee one time even if you pause your membership. Please note that if you cancel your membership, you will need to pay the one-time registration fee again. This fee is non-refundable.

Are there any states or regions where Shine cannot be used?
Due to state laws, Shine Memberships (as well as all other Dental Savings Plans) are not available in Alaska, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, or Washington.

How do I see all my Shine discounts on Smile Brilliant products?
Exclusive pricing on every Smile Brilliant product is available to Shine Members. To view your exclusive pricing, you will need to log into your account and click the “Shine Discounts” tab. You will see a complete list of all the Smile Brilliant products and your discounts will be visible. There is no need to apply coupon codes at checkout. What is the cancellation policy?
Shine has no long-term commitments and you may cancel at any time. Our memberships are offered on a month to month basis (charged every 30 days) or can be purchased as an annual membership for a larger discount. Please note that if you purchased a Shine membership with discount pricing and later decide to cancel your membership, You have the right to cancel this plan within 30 days of the activation date for a full refund with the exception of the standard processing fee. Residents of AR, TN, and MD are eligible for a full refund including the standard processing fee. Such refunds will be issued within 30 days of request.

How do I see the providers that accept Shine?
You can search our complete list of providers for dental, pharmacies and vision centers here below. You are able to search by zip or using GPS.
Important! The list of available providers changes over time. Further, the discounts and available offers made by each provider may also differ. Before arriving at any of our provider locations, please call to confirm participation and pricing.

Who can use my Shine Membership?
Shine memberships are offered as individual, couple, or family plans.
Individual Plans – Can be used by a single person whose name is registered with Shine and displayed on the card.
Couples – This membership can be used by any 2 individuals whose names have been registered. The first individual will be the primary holder (generally the individual who purchased the card). The second member can be a spouse, friend, dependent, or even a neighbor. You are free to add whoever you like as your 2nd member so long as that person is registered with your Shine account.
Families – Family plans include up to 5 members. These members can be spouses, siblings, or dependents. However, for each of them to take advantage of their Shine savings, they must be registered within your account.

How does the Shine Wellness Savings Program work?
As a Shine member, you will receive a member ID and membership card just as you would with health benefit providers. You will show this membership card to any of the providers (dental, pharmacy, or vision) within our network (search for a provider here). The provider will verify your membership and offer you the specified discounts for your membership type and geographic region.

The Shine Dental Package
includes all of the discounts of the Member Perks package as well as exclusive, in-office discounts at more than 262,000* available dental practice locations nationwide. Shine Dental is a great package for individuals (or families) without dental insurance or those who have dental insurance but plan on spending more than your dental insurance annual benefit maximum (generally $1400-$2000 /year). This package does not include discounts at pharmacies or vision centers.
The health benefit discounts cannot be used in conjunction with or in addition to health insurance.
